Julian Hill MP

Assistant Minister for Citizenship, Customs and Multicultural Affairs – Government of Australia
Julian Hill is the Assistant Minister for Citizenship, Customs and Multicultural Affairs, and Assistant Minister for International Education in the Albanese Labor government. Julian chaired the Joint Committee of Public Accounts and Audit, and the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade – Defence subcommittee.

He also served as member of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security. As well as chairing the Select Committee on Workforce Australia Employment Services.

An Australian Labor Party member for many years, Julian has shown a lifelong commitment to progressive politics, community action, and public policy reform. Julian held several positions within the state public service, including Director level positions working in economic development, employment, community development, urban planning, local government, migration, and international education.
