Pete Ekstedt Executive Director Business Development – Australian Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship Limited (ACRE)Pete Ekstedt is Executive Director of Business Development at ACRE, where he is responsible for organisational growth and earned revenue. Over the past couple of years Pete has developed new revenue strategies to strengthen ACRE's sustainability, impact and independence resulting in professional services contracts with RMIT University, Girl Guides Australia, Movember, and many community-based organisations. Pete combines commercial acumen with deep not-for-profit leadership experience. After two decades in senior corporate roles across banking, insurance and IT, he spent almost six years as CEO of a rural youth charity, securing funding from philanthropic, government and corporate sources. Pete was the first employee of Social Enterprise Network Victoria (SENVIC), leading its regional and rural programs and learning & development offerings. In addition to his current role with ACRE, Pete is the founder of Ekstedt Consulting, a specialist executive counselling and coaching practice focused on the wellbeing, professional performance and entrepreneurial mindsets of senior leaders. |
